Getting that first recruiting call from FAANG
Today was an interesting day for me. I've been writing code for several years now, and today was the first time that I had a recruiter reach out to me from Google. I was really excited to get that call, it lets me know that my resume is strong enough to at least get the phone call. It has been a hard road for me, and there have been a thousands of lines of broken code. Perhaps in the end, that is the whole point. Write enough code so that it breaks, you fix it, and it breaks again. Eventually you will get to the point where what you're writing, either for yourself or professionally, will work. Programming isn't easy, in fact most days it is a challenge learning something new. Keep at it, and you will get there.
